Welcome Melvin and Markus to IBR's program. These sweet petite Beagle brothers were in an over-crowded shelter in Memphis and sadly tested positive for heartworms. Both boys also must have suffered a bit of trauma from their previous owner as they came to us frightened of human interaction, that they are overcoming with the help of our friends at Tail Gate For Dogs Daycare and Boarding. They are warming up to the staff and having a great time in group play with other dogs. Getting them to trust people is so important to help them find their forever home. We still need to do their blood work and that will cost around $800. My hope is to raise a few thousand $$ with this raffle as our Daisy Pointer still needs a lot of medical care with her heartworms and blastomycosis treatment. 

My Summer FUNdraising raffle has some really great prizes this year-- things that will bring a lot of joy to your home and garden. I am lucky to find a few of the items before they all sell out and we have such a nice donation from the Beagle Coffee Company too. The raffle will go through July 31st at 7pm. As in previous raffles, we do ask that any items that are shipped that the winner reimburses the rescue for that cost.  Winners will be announced on Facebook and via email.
